yay fanny packs!! I actually have a lululemon one that I wear on occasion - usually when I am volunteering or doing other random things where I can't hold onto a purse - but it isn't ENTIRELY unfortunate looking....our realtor's, on the other hand, is an American Flag and it is wonderfully ugly.

My dad has a fannie pack that he is so serious about. My parents have been divorced for years so it's my mom's side of the family's favorite past time to make fun of him incessantly for it.

B2B - My mom bought a second dress, too. I have no clue why. I haven't seen the second one, yet, but I thought the first one was perfect for her. But her dresses were in the $200-$300 range, so not as ridiculous as thousands. She said she is going to send me pictures of both this weekend so I can help her decide. I wanted to tell her I really don't care what she wears, but I know that would be mean.

Seriously this day needs to be over this week really sucked!!!  I was too upset to post on here but our family dog passed away on wednesday and it has just been really hard!!  I want to be done with kickboxing and home on the couch eating chicken tikka masala with my FI and drinking a glass of wine.

I've never had a set group of girlfriends growing up.  I've always had guy friends or random girl friends here and there.  Girls in the schools I grew up in were so catty and drama-rific.  I like you girls.... you're so NORMAL.

LADY I am SO SORRY about your dog : but chicken tikka masala, MMMM my favorite Indian dish of all time (and my fiance's too!) enjoy!!! there is nothing better than fresh, warm naan and chicken tikka.

Butterfly that is all I eat!!!!  We also love vegetable korma but sometimes they make it way too spicy.  I love indian food!!

Lady!  I am so sorry about your family dog. We'll probably be approaching that too this year.  My family dog, Penny, lives with my parents.  We got her when I was in 8th grade and this year she is turning 14.  She's slowing down but still chipper so I don't even want to think about it.

And about my ticker, MAKE IT STOP!!!!!!!!!  Weren't we all just posting about how they weren't moving?  I also thought that July 1st would be a more popular date.

LADY- I am so sorry!!! It's not easy, I know. We always say we're never getting another dog because it hurts too much. But we always end up getting another! I hope you're doing okay. What helped me grieve was I gathered all of pictures I had of my dog and talked to people about how great she was, told stories, etc. I was surprised that it actually helped to talk about this and I felt better knowing other people have gone through the same thing.

K888- NORMAL? Haha!! I don't think I'm as normal as most of you ladies are! I blame it on my dad, he's so weird.

I LOVE Indian food, too. That's the best thing about food in the UK - curry houses EVERYWHERE!

Do you guys make Indian food from scratch? I haven't really tried it, just get takeout.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmm you are making me hungry!!! no matter how spicy the food is, I ALWAYS bathe it in yoghurt, hahah. the first time fiance's family took me out for Indian food, they were worried about me, so they ordered me two cups of yoghurt just for myself. Since that day I have been laughed at for using too much yoghurt but it's soooo good!!

I DO! It's not "real" though, because we go to the Indian grocery store and buy those spice packets with directions on them. So it's quasi-homemade, but really easy.

You can get chicken tikka, kormas, curries, butter chicken, etc. spice packets that tell you exactly what to add and how to make them. We haven't ventured past this method but apparently it isn't that hard to blend your own spices...we are just lazy. 

The butter chicken was delicious but kind of gross because you have to put so much butter in it.

And I would highly recommend Indian grocery stores because they are DIRT CHEAP. We buy packs and packs of frozen Naans to keep in our freezer that we heat up and eat all the time, and the grocery stores practically give them away they are so cheap. We also love Indian sweets, gulab jamens are my F A V O R I T E. My fiance says he could only eat one at a time because they are so sweet/dense but I could literally eat 5 of them and be happy.

Hiya guys! Poppin in for a second between classes. Sorry Lady about your puppy : B2b gotta say I love both dresses but I do agree dress one is more mom appropriate. My mom got a 2nd one too, though I'm glad cuz I hated her first one. However, it was nowhere near 1,000!! Definitely take care of that situation! I want to be friends IRL toooooo!!! Okay, student got here early grr. Popping back out. xo

We buy the frozen naans, too. Naan is my favorite kind of bread ever. OMG kashmiri naan....... I really want Indian food for dinner now!

My FI sometimes makes Indian curries from scratch, but it's just not the same, lol. I'm sure there are Indian grocery stores in London, maybe I'll go on the hunt for one this weekend.

I'm seriously so hungry now! Twenty more minutes and I'm out of here!
