I inquired about that a few weeks ago. It is a GREAT idea, and they are so cute & CHEAP. But they will not hold a heavy dress for very long. I went back and forth with the designer about it, I am so upset.

What does she make them out of, just wire? Is she not able to make it with a heavier gauge or reinforce the hanger. I'm not sure I wire hanger would hold a dress anyway though (at least not my dress)Oooo what about using them for your sexy clothes

She recommends them for Lingerie. She just started using a heavier gauge, but she bends them by hand, so its not that sturdy.

I just bought one of those for my cousin who is getting married next year. It's true it wouldn't support a heavy wedding gown for very long, but I figured she can hang it on there for a few pictures on the wedding day at least. It turned out really cute - I got it with their names (it says "Molly Arturo"), and she loved it. I wish I'd have had one for my wedding!
