I am getting married in a year (3.10.13) in a church, the reception is still yet to be determined... because of our finances, we can't decide on what to do. We have the option of having the reception in our backyard or even at Anderson Park overlooking Lake Tarpon.
My main concerns if having the reception at Lake Tarpon are:
1. Electricity. Lights. I'm pretty sure that there aren't any outlets.
2. Picnic benches. Linens for the tops of the table, but what about the actual seats. My MOH thought of making seat cushions, but how are the cushions going to stay?
3. Dance Floor. Are there dance floors that can be rented that can be placed on the grass?
4. Rain. Where can I go if it rains? They don't have anything available at the park, renting a tent is just as expensive as renting the hall.
Any thoughts or insights are appreciated!
Oh, and if it's any help, the color is teal, pearl and black with a hint of beach.
