Cruise

Good morning ladies!!!!!  My FI came into some student loan money from his school. He's wanting to go ahead a book a cruise for next summer for our honeymoon...

I just wondered which cruise lines should I check into?? Anyone had good or horrible experiences with any particular line?

I prefer Royal Carribbean to Carnival but I have had great experiences with both.  Both offer great customer service and affordability.  I prefer RC b/c I have noticed with Carnival sometimes there are more kids....but i think it depends on what time of year you book too.  We are doing a 10 day to South/Latin American in December with RC =)

I have been on Princess & Royal Carribbean.  I liked both for different reasons. RC has so much more "ship" to explore and activities, the age group is a little older on Princess.  We booked our honeymoon on Norwegian based on the accomodations and friends & family feedback so hopefully we will enjoy it!

Like TTNoles said, it depends on the time of year. Plus, where you want to go or the boat travels too will also be a factor.

I'm booked on a 7 day Western Caribbean cruise on Carnival for our honeymoon. I have heard that there are more kids on Carnival but it sails out of Tampa the day after the wedding. Couldn't beat the convenience (or price!).

Also, check the honeymoon boards.  MANY of those members are booked or have been on ALL cruise lines.  They were very helpful when we were trying to decide.  OFten times they have more insight into specific ships, ports, deals, etc.  I found they were super helpful!

Been on Carnival twice in the last few years and had an incredible time both times!!!!

My best tip fror cruising (with any line) is to book excursions through www.shoretrips.com

They're cheaper that going through the cruise line excursions and usually are far cooler and more intimate. Not to mention they just flat out have a hundred more choices of things to do in each port Smile

Carnival is the best, most affordable , and stops at places you want to go.
