Amazing Photographer

Sooooooo...... I just saw my friends photos of her wedding....her photographer did an amazing job. His name is Chris Scites. But apparently he's just starting out and new in the business and has great deals for all us budget brides. I'm thinking of scheduling an appointment. There are just so many photographers out there.....BUT i can't afford them....they cost so much for just the basic packages....I'm thinking that getting a new person breaking into the business may be a great idea!

Anybody have any other recommendations?

    Why don't you ask the photographer that your friend used? If you like them and they provide quality photos, it probably not a big deal that they're starting out, but make sure to see a full wedding or 2 that they have done to get a feel how yours might be photographed, and see if they have an insurance, at least. What is your budget? We had a professional and she gave us a great deal, if you need info let me know.

    Go for it with your friends photographer! I'm having my cake done by a bakery that's never done wedding cakes before. They're resonable and eager to please. I also have a friend who recently got married and has beautiful pictures, but her photgrapher had never done a wedding before hers. I'm going to see her about doing mine as well.

    I'm definitely contacting my friend about her photographer...I just thought I would get some other suggestions as well. I don't see anything wrong with using someone who is starting out....everyone has to start somewhere right?! And I was really impressed with the work.

    I think it's a great idea. Newer photographers are more eager to please and work with you. Can you post his website this weekend when you get a chance? I would love to see some of his work!?

    I reccomend www.mandyandmephotography.com they are low budget and great to work with!

    Brooke Nichols is fabulous -
    really captures the personality of each couple,
    instead of the same old / same old photos that those middle-aged men take.

    I used Mandy and Me and just got the photos back....they look great. My best friend used Scites Photography and the photos look amazing too!!

    She is super creative and very down to earth. We loved our engagement photos and can't wait to see what she does for our wed pics! But yeah, ask your friend's photographer, for sure!

    I didn't see this post before I made my own thread... but we used an amazing photographer!  Her name is Rebecca Mackesty, her website is http://bluestartampaphotography.com

    She did our wedding for 2 hours at just $200!!  Her prices have changed a little bit, but she's got this new option where you can decide what you pay.  You fill out this form on her website and tell her what you want in your photo package and what you can pay.   She was super flexible with us!  I highly recommend her!

    I have booked Scites Photography. Chris has an amazing portfolio and very nice. He's gonna take out engagement pictures and wedding photos.

    I appreciate all the recommendations but have truly found an amazing photographer....very excited to work with him.

    Scites Photography was booked on our date but he still did our engagement photos b/c I loved his work and they turned out awesome as I thought they would. We used Mandy&Me Studios for our wedding...which also turned out amzing. You can't go wrong with either one. Chris is located here in Tampa and Mandy&Me are located in Sarasota.
