Mixed feelings

Its 31 days to the wedding and Im having such mixed feelings!!! On one hand I'm ecstatic! I can't wait to give myself to my fiancee and spend the rest of my life with him. On the other hand, I've spent all my free time for over a year planning this and I kind of don't want it to be over!

I agree...I kind of feel like I will feel deflated after its all over...a little depressed.  Nothing to plan...guess I will have to plan to have a baby!  JK

I've totally thought about this too! I think about the wedding and planning for it so much right now, I seriusly have no idea what I'm going to do with myself after it is over. I refuse to be a crazy person on TK 10 years after being married being mean to girls on the boards, lol. I think those girls had serious wedding withdrawl, haha.

I now know why people have babies shortly after the wedding! They need to plan for something else.

I'm soo excited for the wedding to be here though! I can't wait to see how everything is going to pull together. I wish it was longer than just a day event. I'm already sad my showers are over.

HAHAHA!  Couldn't agree more.  Although I am thankful for the advise, sometimes people just get catty, and when it's the ones who have been married for 5 years and still lurk on here, I think it's strange!

Personally, I don't want to rush the wedding day, but I am so ready to be finished planning.  I'm starting to get a little tired of that being the only thing that people talk to me about, and I remember having hobbies and a life before wedding planning and even at one time I had something that's only a fleeting dream now - free time!  I'm enjoying all of the planning, but I think it will be nice when life resumes normally (or at least close to normally - with a husband!)

Completely agree! There are some bitter married ladies on here lol And I never understand why they are so mean to ppl. Someone asks a question that has already been asked recently and they jump down their throat... if it was asked already and you were angered by it... why open the post just to be mean?!?... lol

Oh my goodness i am so ready to just be married already! We will have been engaged about a year and a half by the time we tie the knot and i can not wait for this part to be over lol Literally i was at a friends wedding 2 weeks ago and friends of our asked "like how did you feel being at their wedding, did it get you excited?" and i of course said yes it ampted me up but mostly i was jealous that my friend didnt have to worry about planning a wedding anymore lol And i am a girly girl who loves hosting ppl @ my house but man this is stressful! lol

I have mixed emotions, too. Some moments, I just want to skip over the next few weeks and have it be the wedding day, but then I do think what am I going to do with myself when I come back from the honeymoon?? I think I am going to have to pick up a hobby or two, b/c we're not quite ready for babies. I'm thinking it would be fun to take some cooking classes and get better at that. I think my FI (then husband) would enjoy if I did that, too
