Feedback on a Short-List of Potential Venues

Hi all,

Well, we've done the initial listing of potential locations, and I have a "short-list" of 5 that I am going to make appt's at:

Lange Farm

Karnes Stables

Postcard Inn

Casa Lantana

Palmetto Riverside B&B

Does anyone have any feedback on them?  Experiences?  Prices?  Etc?

Has anyone had their wedding at these places?

Have you had a meeting with them?

Thoughts?

We are having our wedding at Karnes Stables (Ceremony at Phi Delta Kappa on 54) and I LOVE Ellen at the stables, her and her husband are great. I love that we don't have to use any of their vendors, get the bridal suite for 2hrs prior to ceremony, and they let our DJ use their PA system so he doesn't have to break down and go set up again at the reception he can set the reception up early before the ceremony. The price I think is around $900 that includes 50 chairs, horse drawn carriage, the suite, ceremony, and as much photo time as you need. The animals there are super sweet too. The carriage can not be taken off for a discount so just enjoy it if you choose it.

We have been there twice (once to fall in love and put a deposit after seeing it online and the 2nd time so they could meet our DJ and photographer and they could get a lay of the land)

EDIT: Additional chairs can be rented!
