That religion thing was kind of our situation, too, so we elected a civil ceremony. I ended up doing a lot of research on this. There are no justices of the peace in MD. Ours is being done by the Clerk of the Circuit Courts, but some other government officials can do them, too.I've heard of people having them done by the Ethical Society.Also, if you have a friend or family member do an online certification to become an officiant (takes very little time but is recognized by the state) they can do the wedding and say whatever you'd like them to. GL!!Also- feather bouquets. I was interested in this but FI said it would look like a feather duster haha. However I've seen pictures of beautiful ones, especially with peacock or ostrich feathers.
