Rhinestones came in!

The rhinestones for my DIY hoodies came in today.  I guess I know what I'll be doing this weekend!  YAY!

Our wedding bands also came in yesterday and I LOVE mine!  That was FI's project and he did really well.

BUT I did have a bad dream last night that we moved our wedding up 3 months and I somehow forgot that my dress hadn't come in and 2 hours before the wedding I didn't have anything to wear!  I was quite uneasy when i woke up - too much tossing and turning.  I think it's my subconcious fear that I'm forgetting something about all this wedding planning stuff...

What are you girls up to this weekend?

Sounds like you'll be DIY-ing this weekend!!!  Have fun with your project!!  My hoodie is one of my favorite DIYs.

I had a bad wedding dream last night too.  For some reaosn Kevin thought it would be sweet of him to cancel the big wedding (b/c people are just pissing me off this week) and surprise me with eloping to a cruise ship.  My hair looked like crap and I was in a dress that was not mine and the person "officiating" barely spoke English... I was wicked annoyed.  We spent X grand on this dang wedding and you decided to cancel it to save me stress?  Ugh.  men.

Anyway... this weekend we are driving to Harrisburg to spend some time with my grandma.  Actually... correction... Kevin will be driving and I will be studying... final on Monday.  ick.

    That all sounds awesome!

My plan is to make my ringbearer's pillow this weekend.  We'll see how it goes...

Going to a Siete de Mayo party tomorrow night and going to see FI's rugby game on Sunday.  (It's the first one I'll have seen and I'm scared!  Every time he ends up hurt in some way or another.)

I just ordered a necklace and earrings for the wedding. I also ordered photo letters spelling 'CAKE', 'CARDS' and A&C 9/24/11. They were from the Etsy seller that Kara recommended. (Thank you)

I am waiting for my mom to come pick me up. We are going to my cousin's baby shower in Fairport tomorrow. We bought this huge Exersaucer thing that needs to be wrapped. She should be here around 2 or 3, then we're going to my grandpa's house. Then I'm coming home Sunday, and getting ready for my first day at my new job Monday! YAY!

We went to look at wedding rings last night, I had an 'OMG' moment realizing how quickly the time has gone and how soon I'll be married.

Kevin and I both played rugby in Africa.  No broken bones (but a heckuva lot of cuts and bruises).... It can be rough, but it was a ton of fun!!  Rugby players are usually big drinkers, so be ready to party and hear "war stories" about the game all night.

I didn't know they had rugby teams around here... where does he play??  (Monica daydreaming about playing again.... imagining trying to hold a bouquet wiht a broken arm... ok maybe next year)

Yeah they can drink! Whoa! Thats actually the first time I "saw" my ex. It was after a rugby party (during the day?!) and he was sooo gone that his friends left him in the room while they got dinner and said theyd bring him back chicken fingers. Well he stripped to his boxers, stood on his desk in front of his open window (which was ceiling to top of desk length so you see all) and was screaming "Chicken fingerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs" Over and over and over again.

Of course I didnt realize it was him until after we started dating. But yeah, Rugby boys are insane.

Haha!  He's just finishing his first year of business school and just took it up in the fall.  (The team is through the university.)  He loves it, but so far he's played in 3 tournaments and gotten a broken finger in one, black eye and scrapes on the face in another, and something weird in his knee during the latest one.  Who knows what Sunday will bring?

He's on lockdown for a couple of weeks before the wedding!  I just saw an email he wrote about how he couldn't play in a tournament on Sep 24 b/c that's his wedding, but he could on Sep 17.  I was like, uh uh, boy, that is NOT happening.

you'll have to show us a pic when you're done!

Where did you get yours, and is it hard to do for a person who likes crafts but is terrible at them?

I've been wanting evn just to make a Bride shirt for myself after looking online and thinking it was too much but wasn't sure how to go about doing it so i havent done anything.

I will definitely put up some pics when I get them finalized.  I bought some short-sleeved, zip-up hoodies from OldNavy.com and the hotfix rhinestones off Ebay.

I followed another Knottie's instructions from her DIY bio:  http://hannahandben.weebly.com/

I'm not very artsy either but I thought it was a fun project!
