honeymoon help?

hello ladies!  i am kristen, live in montana, getting married at my folks' house, south of seattle, and FI are taking our honeymoon on vancouver island.  thought i would stop in here to see if there are any "must sees" on your end.  things we are thinking about and are interested in:
hot springs, surfing in tofino, kayaking, hiking, pacific rim national park, butchart gardens, high tea at the empress, wineries, caving.

basically, we're outdoorsy, love good food and wine/beer, and are up for anything.  we'll be driving and the areas that we're thinking of are victoria, sooke, port renfrew, nainamo, ucluelet, tofino, and maybe some of the gulf islands (salt spring maybe?)

i know this may be overambitious.  so if there is anything that you think is overrated, or for sure not to miss, i would love to hear it.  oh, and we're going in the beginning of june.
TIA!!

Wow you have a lot on that list! How long will you be on the island for??
I think it is do-able but depends how much time you have.

If you're interested in caving check out Horne Lake Caves near Qualicum Beach. The Qualicum Beach/Parksville area is also really nice.

I think if you spent a day or two in Victoria you could do what you want there and then hit up the Tofino area, depending how long you have travel back through qualicum and if you have time over to Saltspring. There is lots to see and do but really depends what you want to do.

theres some awesome hiking near sooke. Just be prepared to either get wet or change plans if it rains!!! June can still be pretty sloppy some years. Tofino has surfind and whale watching so i would say thats must!!! In victoria the Royal BC Museum i would say is a MUST they have a whole floor dedicated to the history of the first nations peoples from the area. Also just walking around downtown victoria can be really nice if its a nice day, and if its a weekend theres usually lots of street performers. Enjoy your time here in Beautiful BC!
