WORST FLORIST EVER!!!!!!!

Hi ladies I just had to come on here and tell you about a really awful experience I had! Vendor: This Old Garden - Tustin Ca -WORST VENDORFirst off I want to say that I have a florist who is amazing but I wanted to tell you about what happened with this vendor. She quoted us gazebo drapping for $500. First she told us she only has three different colors available. They I gave her a swatch of the color I wanted and she said she loved it and would create that for us. Then I call her back to get a contract etc and talk about the details. Then she told me she wasn't sure she wanted to do all red and would I be ok with red and cream. I said I would think about and my coordinator later called her and then she agreed to do all red for $500 but a contract would need to be signed soon.My Fiance and I have spent the last THREE weeks calling her EVERY DAY to get the contract. We even called the hotel that uses her a lot to ask if they knew what the issue was. I even sent my Fiance to her HOUSE to see if we could sign the contract. I finally got ahold of her yesterday and she said she didn't want to do red AGAIN. I said this is out of control I thought this was all decided. Then she said well let me ask my busines partner. She called me back after and hour and said she would do it but it would cost be FOUR THOUSAND! I could go on and on but the point is I just want to save someone else the pain and frustration of using this vendor. My wedding is 29 days away and she has been the one stressful issue in the entire process!

It's generally a good idea to trash vendors on TK. Also, based on your suggestions in the florist post below, it's possible that maybe they aren't interested in your business.  Just a thought . . .

I just didn't want anyone else to have to deal with thier unprofessionalism!  If they weren't intrested they could have said that, that would have been the professional thing to do instead of telling us they would and then would not do it. I think we all have enough stress with the wedding to not have to deal with this on top of it!

I know that it isn't a good idea to "trash" vendors but it is important that we share our experiences with local vendors on these boards.

I agree, but there are better ways to approach it.  Vendors are known to lurk on these boards and there have been issues related to this kind of post in the past.  It was just a bit of advice.
