How much did you pay for your alterations?

Hello girlies,

I have not tried on wedding dresses yet but I fell IN LOVE with one by Essense of Australia. I've seen others say they bought the same dress for $1,400-1,600 so I'm budgeting the high end.

How much can I expect to pay in alterations if I only take it in? If I want to change anything I know it's impossible to estimate the cost now. But what about just getting it to my size?

    I paid a total of $300 for my alterations. I had to have it taken in a little bit in the waist and thighs to make it a little bit more or a mermaid shape on me. I had to have it brought up and a bustle added. I went to Sew What Tailoring in La Mesa. Absolutely worth the drive from Downtown. Lea was INCREDIBLE to work with...she is super reasonable as well.
