San Diego Rowing Club

Has anyone had their wedding or know someone who has had their wedding at the San Diego Rowing Club? It's in Mission Bay, and I really want a beach wedding ceremony (actually in the sand) so I'm not sure how the beaches there are, the pictures sent to me were taken on a gray day and it faces a shack type building? Are there any other nice sandy beaches close by? I've looked into some different venues in Coronado but it's just too expensive.  Any tips would be great :)

    There is another rowing club, ZLAC, that has a boat house, and I've seen/heard about weddings there.  It's right on the sand/Mission Bay.

    Go to Bridalinsider.com.  It's another great wedding site/discussion board.  Go to Vendor Reviews.  There was a review of the ZLAC boathouse for a wedding:  Kristin and Lisa's wedding I think is the beginning part of the name of the review.  Should be on the most recent page, or just one behind it.
