Vendor Reviews!!!

Hello ladies…just getting to my vendor reviews for my 4/17 wedding. Our goal was a very elegant and unique wedding on a budget. The wedding and reception could not have been more perfect, so hopefully these suggestions will help!   Venue: The Redmoor  A++ The Redmoor was the perfect place to have our wedding reception! We wanted a unique venue, and The Redmoor exceeded our expectations...and we got so many compliments from our guests! The food was amazing...they have a wonderful chef in-house, which is nice. Mandie, one of the owners, was also incredibly helpful and responsive...we planned our wedding from out of town, so she really bent over backwards to be flexible and be available meet with us when we were in town. They took care of all of the details and set up the day of, so I didn't have to worry about anything. We looked into a number of other venues, and The Redmoor was extremely reasonable in cost as well. Also, our open bar lasted four hours, but they said they gave us a number of options if we wanted to extend the party and/or alcohol longer. We are SO happy we had this flexibility…at 11:30 the party was still in full-force, so there’s no way we could shut it down, so we opened a bar tab and kept right on going!  Highly recommend!   Hair: Francheska Ramundo A++ Francheska came to my venue and did most of my bridesmaids hair as well. My trial was the first time I met her…I was so particular with how I wanted my hair, and she NAILED it! I absolutely loved my hair and so did all of my BMs!! Up-dos are her specialty, but my sister wore hers down, and I’ve never seen it more beautiful!! Her prices are extremely reasonable…especially for coming onsite…which is another huge plus.   Makeup: Heidi McKenna  A+ Heidi did a fabulous job with my makeup. I have dry skin in areas, but she made it look flawless, and it lasted all day! She’s so sweet, came onsite and her prices are reasonable as well!   Cake: Tres Belle Cakes A++ I didn't know how much I would love my cake until I saw it coming into our reception...it was beautiful beyond my expectations! And it tasted amazing...I only wish I could have eaten more!   Ceremony Music: Midnight Rose Trio A++ The Midnight Rose Trio was wonderful! They were so easy to work with... so helpful in suggesting music for the ceremony, and they even were able to sing parts of the liturgy when we needed a vocalist. The music itself was beautiful!   Photography: NMG Photography A+++ They’re actually based in Los Angeles, but incredibly amazing, so I needed to mention. My husband and I are thrilled with our pictures--Michael and Natalie really captured the magic of our wedding day for us. Not only are they incredibly talented photographers, but Michael and Natalie are such wonderful people to work with. They really put their hearts into their work to make sure their clients are happy. They also had some very special touches...I loved the slide show they created...we didn't have a videographer, but this was such a great way to share the photos of our day with friends and family in an emotional and memorable way. I've gotten so many compliments...we can't thank NMG enough!   Limo: Savannah Nights A++ Excellent service…they were prompt, responsive, friendly and accommodating! I have had nightmare experiences with other companies, but this was fabulous. It wasn’t the lowest-priced option (they never got back to us…bad sign), but they were lower than others (some that also never got back to us)   DJ: Hey Mr. DJ!  B+ We told Brandon our goal was to keep the dance floor packed all night, and he did just that! I have to say everyone had a blast!! That being said, we had requested that he play a few songs…he played some but not others…not the end of the world, but I was a little disappointed. Before, the wedding, I was a little concerned as well, as he seemed a bit disorganized, forgetting one of our meetings. He did make some good suggestions for the flow of the night though, and added a special moment at the end, incorporating recordings from the toasts into the final song, which was nice.   Bed Bath & Beyond A++
This is the only place we registered, and I am totally impressed by their customer service and the ease of use. Getting married and living in two different cities can be a huge challenge...we got a number of gifts in Cincy, but couldn't bring them back. BB&B's return policy is SO convenient, so we could take them back and re-purchase in LA (w/20 percent off coupons!). Throughout the whole process they were so accommodating and really helped make everything easy...and their product selection is excellent as well!!!

I found the style I wanted while trying on my dress, and found this site that offers a huge selection of styles for reasonable prices...mine was only $30, and it was exactly what I wanted. You can choose your style, color, embelishments, etc.
