Ok so my FI and I have been discussing favors. Our date is April 21 and we were originally going to do a candy bar. My mom begged me not to because in her opinion it was cheezy and tacky (she is odd). No problem mom. Then I said that I wanted to do a donation to Susan G Komen in the name of my grandmother who has passed. She didn't feel that was enough and began to scour the internet looking for favor ideas.
The point we have reached now is that I don't have a "theme" to my wedding and can't think of anything spring related that I would give everyone. I know most people do edible favors so I haven't completely ruled that out yet, but my mom asked if I would consider christmas ornaments in our wedding colors with our name and the date of our wedding. My aunt did this for her wedding and we all loved it...the difference was, she got married on Dec 7, so the season made sense.
I guess the bottom line is, does the season have to define the favor?
How I unwind? The FI and I watch old TV shows
