I got married last weekend and here are some reviews of the vendors I can remember! Feel free to PM for more info or pics!
Bridal & Formal: A
The consultant that I worked with was sweet and I found my dress the first time visiting. I wish I had waited to buy, but it was my own fault, she was not pressuring me in any way. We also purchased the bridesmaid dresses here with no problems. My only complaint is that I found both my dress and the girls dresses for significantly less than we paid at other stores in the area after purchasing. I wish I had shopped around a bit more, but again, not their fault.
Skeffingtons in Kenwood: A
Pretty easy to work with, and fixed our minor problems two days before the wedding (such as shirts not fitting). However, after hearing from other brides, I think we got the worst "deal" on tuxes, others in the area seem to be less expensive and just as high in quality. Oh well!
Petals & Things: A++++++
I worked with Rosemary and her assistant and they were absolutely the best wedding vendor I had. They created exactly what I wanted and the flowers were ABSOLUTELY perfect. They also were within our budget and work with you so that you get exactly what you want.
DJ Butlers, Aaron: A
He was very easy going and our reception certainly wouldn't have flowed without him. All of our friends and family danced even at 1pm in the afternoon! He also did the sound for our ceremony and the only problem was that the reader had a mic and it didn't work for her reading. It was not a big deal, but hardly anyone could hear it since the wedding was outside.
Norlyn Manor: B-
(Ceremony and reception venue). Overall, we got good value for our money but we had some issues that could have been resolved with better communication/organization. The food was delicious, the rooms are gorgeous, the gazebo for the ceremony was PERFECT. PM for more info.
Heidi McKenna: A+++
AMAZING, as always. My make-up was exactly what I expected and she was so fast! My bridesmaids also got their makeup done and she did such a great job.
Jen Nally: B
The trial went great! All of our hair ended up looking nice and she did go above and beyond in helping one of my bridesmaids fix her hair when it started getting frizzy.
Michael Bambino (Anne): A+
Michael did our engagement pics which we LOVE. Anne was our photographer for the wedding and she was very sweet. Made sure to capture all of the shots we told her we wanted. Her assistant was also really nice. I haven't seen my pictures yet, but I am sure they will be amazing!
Tres Belle: A+
Excellent to work with and the cake is super yummy. Our cake looked exactly like we wanted! I didnt really get to taste the cake, but the ones we tried before were really good and all of our guests were raving about the cake.
Jerry's Cheesecake: A+
We got a cheesecake for the groomscake with the batman logo on it. It went faster than the real cake! Again, I didnt get a chance to try it but our guests loved it!
Sun Palace (Cancun): A
Don't keep their wedding website up-to-date about what the packages include, but other than that this place was awesome. The people were so helpful and kind. It is an adults-only all inclusive and it is pretty small compared to others in the area.
