Ceremony help

My fiance and I are having a hard time finding a place to get married.  He is Catholic and I am not.  We were thinking about going to a non-denominational church for our ceremony.  Neither of us attend church in this area.  Does anyone know of a place that will take non-members of different beliefs?  Our reception is in Erlanger and we are hoping to find a church somewhat close to the reception site.  Please help!

Re: Ceremony help

  • if you're comfortable getting married in the Catholic church, a lot of parishes still subscribe to the idea that being 'in the neighborhood' means you're a member. I would check out the churches in your immediate vicinity and see if they'd consider you a member. One of my friends did this just a few months ago.

Otherwise, all I can suggest is finding a ceremony space and then hiring an outside officiant, which is what we did.

  • Try St. Als. It is a Catholic church but you can rent it and have what ever minister you want. If you don't have one you can use theirs. The church is right off of Norwood lateral and about 10-15 min from KY.
