Gallapagos Islands--Ecuador?

Has anyone been to GI? Know anyone who has? The more I read about it the more excited I am at the prospect of going! All the travel there is eco-friendly and you get to see so much cool wildlife!Any input if you have it will be appreciated! =)TIA

Hiya - I've been and it is AMAZING!! You will have such a great time, you can stand so close to the animals.. the birds are probably the funniest - take a good video camera! I booked through Hilary at WAC Travel - she can help you decide which if the boats to choose - we went for a small yacht as it was easier to get on and off islands.. and we were with a great, young group of people who we are still friends with!!

The Gallapagos Islands - I havn't been, but one of my good friends has been there and she never stops talking about it and its been almost 15 years since she's been! LOL! She says that is one place you must visit in your lifetime

oh I'm so excited!!!Cashandrich--how was the smaller boat? I worry about being seasick on a smaller vessel. What's pricing like?Who else did folks use for travel arrangements? I sent for information from Columbia Travel, and Latin American Destinations. Are there certain things that should definitely be included? How long did/are you going for? Are you doing anything else, like exploring the Amazon or staying a few nights in Quito?Sorry I'm all full of questions!
