Best AI in Mexico with awesome beach and great food

Hi all,

FI and I are looking for a 7-10 day trip at an AI in Mexico. Budget is 6k max including everything air, excursions, any necessary transfers, Ect. We are flying from NY and looking for a gorgeous beach, ocean view with balcony, jacuzzi in room, nice tv. Most important are quality of food at hotel as well as pristine beach. All suggestions welcome. I've been to Cancun already but am open to any other part of Mexico. Thanks!

Check out Real Resorts the have The Royal Cancun and The Royal Playa Del Carman. We've been to The Royal Cancun and loved it! We are heading back in a few months and can't wait. We had/have the royal jr corner suite and with air and three excursions it 5,600 dollars for 7 nights. I have a review and pics from our first trip back in 2010 in the link above my siggy pic.

Check out Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita. It's a boutique AI with top notch restaurants, a well known spa, and more personalized service. It is a bit more expensive than some of the others, but worth it.

We loved the Valentin Imperial Maya, and it's well under your budget so you could splurge for upgraded rooms and excursions.

We went to the Sun Palace in Cancun last year.  The room was absolutely gorgeous with a jacuzzi for 2 in it.  The beach was nice and there are a couple pools.  I didn't think the food was anything spectacular, but it was good.  It's cool how you can go to other palace resorts too and use their facilities for free.

We stayed at the Royal in Cancun last February and had an Ocean Front room (even though all or most rooms face the ocean). We had a great time! The beach was beautiful and the place was really clean. We talk about going back all the time. We're in NY but we flew out of Newark.

Hi!

That's actually the hotel we are looking at.  Which room did you stay in and did you upgrade to premium package?  Who did you book through and did you go on excursions that you loved?  Please let me know. Thanks!
