Have you traveled with FI before?

We've traveled several times together. We try to make a point of it to go on at least a little trip at least once a year. We've traveled together maybe 6 times together, so we're pretty comfortable travelling together.

We love to travel together!  We try and make at least one big trip a year (big=maybe a week, somewhere in the states), and usually a couple little 1 or 2 night trips somewhere nearby like San Antonio.

Our first trip together was after dating 2 1/2 years, which now was 7 years ago. 

We love road trips, but last December was the first time to fly together, (his first time ever).  Now he loves flying and can't wait until our honeymoon.

Because we're trying to save money and vacation time, we won't have another trip until our honeymoon.  But we're planning on it being at least 2 weeks.

I think trips are a really great way to really see how well your relationship works.  Do you make time for the other person's interests, or just yours?  Do you problem solve well together (ex: when you get lost!)?  Do you enjoy spending a really long amount of exclusive time with your SO?  I think vacations can bring out the best and worst in people, so it really tells you a lot!

H and I enjoy traveling; we just don't always have the checkbook to support it! Our biggest trip thus far has been our HM to Hawaii. We're doing Northern California in a couple weeks. Hoping to get to Europe within the next few years.

I've been with my FI for over 6 years and have been on many incredible vacations together! In fact, we just got back from one last night. Next up: our destination wedding!

We actually never took a vacation the first 4 years of our relationship, since we were long distance for most of that. Our 'travel funds' went straight to plane tickets just to see each other.
But just last week we went to San Francisco and had a great time!
And next week: honeymoon!

In the 2 or so years FI and I have been together (friends for 13 before that) we've been to Seattle and Mt. St. Helen's, Las Vegas/Grand Canyon/Hoover Dam (all in one trip), and our last trip was to Jamaica.  I love to travel and its nice to be with someone who can share that with me.  He has the same enthusiasm about traveling as well and we each did a lot of traveling ourselves before we finally got together.  We've also been to Haiti twice together to do volunteer work.  We also like to try to get in 1 trip or so a year.

H and I love to travel together!  We went on our first big vacation together after only 6 months of dating, which was to Hawaii.  We try to do 2 big vacations a year and several weekend trips.  Next year will be our last big travel year before we try to start a family though, so we try to take advantage of being DINKs (dual income, no kids) for now ;-D

Prior to our marriage, we'd never flown together (and we dated 11 yrs). We'd down small driving trips to surrounding states, but our HM was our first flight together.

We've now been married just shy of 2 yrs and have gone on 4 flying trips together.  We love traveling, but like pp said, it's all about balancing it with our funds!

We try and do 2 big trips a year and a few long weekend trips.  Our latest long weekend trip was to Mexico.  Nothing now until the honeymoon!

dh and i traveled  frequently before we got married or engaged. i wouldn't consider getting engaged to someone if I didn't. it's a huge priority in both of our lives.

FI and I did a December trip to NY and a spring break (he's a teacher) trip to the Dominican Republic.  Next up, our honeymoon cruise to Alaska!
