Riu Palace Punta Cana

My fiance and I are thinking about going here for our honeymoon... has anyone been here? What's it like? We are booking with a travel agency and our agent hasn't been to this property, but she said coworkers of hers had and they loved it. Just wondering what others think of this property as a "honeymoon location"... Thanks!

I have been to another RIU Palace and I really loved it. The RIU Palace resorts are a few steps above the standard "RIU" resorts.
I found this review on their trip advisor from a honeymoon couple. Not very long but the review seems very reliable.

I stayed at this resort! It is gorgeous! However, I did not stay there for a honeymoon so I can't comment about that.
Out of all the Riu resorts that I have stayed in, this was the best!

One thing I did notice were that there were very few Americans at this resort and most people did not speak English. I'm not saying that was an issue but we did notice this in comparison to other resorts in Punta Cana.
