Review for Emily's Catering

I know my wedding is in two weeks, and I'm sure I'll heap more praises upon them afterwards when I've eaten the delicious food and seen their fabulous presentation and experienced their impeccable service...

But I just HAD to drop in here and let you ladies know that Emily's Catering has made my wedding planning so much easier in so many ways!  Even before I tasted their food (which is mind-blowingly awesome), they just are so quick to respond to any question, they never treat even the smallest concern or communication like it's a hassle.  They do exactly what they say they'll do exactly when they say they'll do it.  And they're so flexible, it's ridiculous!!!!  I have never once felt nickle-and-dimed by them.  If anything, I feel like I'm taking advantage of them getting all this fabulous food for such a great price.

The first examples that come to mind - we were discussing menus and trying to choose stations.  Of the examples they gave us in the proposal, there were two I was stuck between.  What did they do?  Merge them.  We get BOTH for the cost of one.  No joke!

Also, they're willing to assemble all of our linens and chairs and tables, even though we didn't rent them through them.  No cost!  They also are letting us bring in our own booze and just pay a per head fee for the bar set-up and additional insurance policy.  Seriously, so reasonably priced and so flexible!

With my timeline, Rick made some fabulous suggestions in a very "this is one idea, based on my experience, but we will honestly gladly do whatever you want us to do" kind of way.  I found him incredibly easy to bounce ideas off of, and very flexible.  He has made our entire timeline flow impeccably!

I feel like they know my wedding as well as I do.  I trust 100% turning over all the materials to them and just showing up to see how beautiful everything turns out.  Even if it's not precisely where I envisoned each little item, I believe they will take the time to consider the entire picture, the mood, the atmosphere, and the flow of the event.

Tom & I would like to send a quick note of appreciation for everything you’ve done for us. From the moment I first spoke with Cheryl & Rick Kerzner I had a really good feeling about working with Emily’s Catering Group for one of our most important events...our wedding. I remember looking at Tom with a sigh of relief stating “I think we may have found our caterer”. Fortunately, I was correct. Every correspondence was an absolute delight, but as they say, “proof is in the pudding”. During my first phone conversation I explained to Rick how picky I was with not only the quality of food, but the presentation. He listened patiently and then complimented me by saying he loves working with detail oriented people who want perfection because his goal is to create perfection. A couple days later we went for our tasting and were so impressed with his professionalism and DELICIOUS food. Everything was wonderful, but as we were sitting there having a conversation I mentioned liking a certain flavor sauce and within minutes he had his chef whip up the perfect blend...what service! We were having an intimate wedding with 60 people so food was extremely important to us. Our tasting went so well, we decided to hire Emily’s Catering for our rehearsal dinner on Friday night with about 40 guests, our wedding on Saturday and our Sunday brunch with the same number of guests. EVERYONE couldn’t stop raving about the food, the quality, presentation & professionalism of every staff member. We wanted perfection & we got so much more...your service is priceless & we couldn’t be more appreciative. We give Emily’s Catering 5 Stars and are so glad we’ve found our caterers for life, anytime we have an event we want YOU there! I think all our guests feel the same way & we are not easy to please. From the bottom of our hearts, we can not thank you enough for playing such an important role so beautifully for an amazing weekend that will be cherished in our hearts forever.
