SMALL Rustic Barns?

I know the whole rustic barn thing has been asked a million times, but I'm looking for something a bit more intimate than I've seen in previous posts. I really like the Webb Barn, but it's nearly booked through the next year on dates that would work for us. Anyone know of anything on the smaller more intimate side? I'd even be willing to clean out someone's barn and pay them for it if they'd let us use it in June. We're looking at 30-50 people in total for attendance.

If you are willing to drive a little bit, the Meeting House in Tiverton, RI is adorable.

We are getting married at the Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington. There are a lot of ceremony and reception options on the property.  There is a room they call the Makeshift theater that looks like a barn that was converted into an event space.  It is rustic and in a gorgeous setting. The maximum capacity for a sit down dinner is 80.

I would check out this website www.rusticweddingchic.com.  Great site for rustic wedding ideas and barn/farm venues.  The creator of the site is a Fairfield County native and has a great eye for all things rustic. E-mail the author Maggie she would be happy to help!
  • Does anyone know of any rustic barns like the Webb Barn? We are looking into the Webb Barn but haven't gone to see it yet. We want a rustic/elegant type of wedding. Outdoor ceremony, possibly water nearby, or not. And a reception in a beautiful barn or an oudoor reception in a tent would be nice.

Our max is 75 or less and we live in CT.
    Thanks so much.
