Can't decide where to go

I was looking to go to St. Lucia for our HM, I wanted to stay at Sandels Grande St.Lucia, But I am second guessing my desicion. I want to go some where that is Ai, tropical, and we want to go scuba diving. I love the what I see for the sandals grande, but I am affraid that there isn't much to do at night. We want things to do during the day and night. I just don't know where else to look. We( mostly I) don't want to go to mexico or jamacia. We don't really want to spend more than $5000 either. TIA for any ideas.

    I went to Sandals Antigua. We didn't spend over 5k either.
    They have a casino next store, and there is a Pub, plus entertainment.  I also was actually tired at night from being out and doing active things in the sun.  Plus we drank more than usual, so that made us tired too.  The beach is gorgeous, there is scuba there too.  I don't know if you are using a TA but I totally laid out all I wanted and I needed and mine was awesome. I used Jennifer at VIP.   We actually turned our HM into a wedding when I got cold feet about the big huge wedding.  We spent a little more because it was the wedding, but in the end we thought it was a very good value and are looking at going to St. Lucia for our 1 year anniversary.

    I think you and your future hubby would really enjoy Dreams Palm Beach. 

     

    The resort is located on a beautiful beach in the Dominican Republic and it has three swimming pools. Dreams offers great activities for everyone such as beach volleyball, introductory scuba diving lessons, snorkeling, windsurfing and kayaks.  When you are hungry, the resort has seven restaurants, five bars and 24-hour room service.

     

    There is also plenty to do at night at Dreams Palm Beach. The resort has an indoor theater with live shows and entertainment, and they also have a casino and a nightclub that is open until 2:00 am. Not to mention it is only minutes away from the excitement of downtown PC.
