Honeymoon in p. cana, DR

I'm wondering if anyone has been or heard anything about the Catalonia Royal in P. Cana, Dominican Republic. The reviews are all over the place on trip advisor

I decided to go with Secrets Sanctuary in Cap Cana, DR which is right next to P. Cana. If you are looking for places with better reviews, I would look into Dreams or Secrets.

I went to the Royal Suites at Turquesa for a vacation, it is like a royal club- separate section with upgraded amenities and rooms from the resort. It was friggin fabulous!

I didn't stay at the Catalonia  Royal in DR.  When I went to P. Cana, I stayed at the Princess Resort.  BEST TIME EVER!  It was relaxing, yet the excursions were fun.  Completely all-inclusive.  Beautiful right on the water.

We are going to Dreams Palm Beach in P. Cana and we have only found great reviews about it. Plus we are doing the prefered club membership this time, I would suggest that because you get upgraded ammenities and access to more of the resort then regular membership.

<div>This was previously another resort that was taken over by Hard Rock.  It's our top pick for our honeymoon.  Every single room has a double jacuzzi tub!   All the reviews on TripAdvisor sound positive for the most part...especially from the honeymoon couples.  </div><div>
</div><div>We have a few options open to us, but they don't include any of the Dreams or Sandals resorts.  My Fiance's grandmother has a timeshare exchange all over the world and those are not options...but the Hard Rock and a few others are....I think we're going to book sometime this weekend, I'm excited!  </div>
