Resizing Diamond Eternity Wedding Band

Bailey Banks and Biddle went chapter 11 and we got an amazing deal on a diamond eternity wedding band. Only issue is that it's one size too big, (7 and I am a 6) Has anyone had luck sizing down an eternity ring with pave diamonds all the way around it? (Or any type of diamonds all the way around it? Any suggestions of good jewlers to do the sizedown? Thanks

I would try Jewlery Plus in Casstleberry I had my ring resized there a few weeks ago and the company I work for uses them exclusively. I would call them first just to make sure they can do it but I highly recomend them.

You have to be REALLY careful about re-sizing an eternity band.  My friend's FI originally ordered her's to big and it turned into a nightmare.  Her's was a pave style and the diamonds kept popping out.  She did have a very reputable jeweler who luckily guaranteed their work or she would have been out of luck.  My e-ring and wedding band are eternity but not pave.  The company who made my ring (Memoire) re-sizes for life.  But I have to send it to the company and have it completely recast.Good luck!

can you add those little sizer balls to the inside of the band? i did that with my e-ring. if you are worried about the balls bothering you (as i was), you could at least try them out b/c you can always remove them. as for me, i got used to the feeling of them and they don't bother me at all anymore.

Thanks for everyones help, much appreciated! I think we will start with the sizing balls and go from there. One other question is how many sizes can the sizing balls really take it down? The weddign band is a 7 and mt e-ring is a 5 3/4...

if you have an eternity band, it s/b looser than your e-ring anyway since you want it to move on your finger and get even wear all the way around. plus. if you will be wearing them together most of the time, the e-ring will keep it in place better. i am not sure how many sizes the balls are able to affect the sizing of the band.
