We are working on ballroom placement (sweetheart table, cake, dj, etc.) and I'm not really sure where I want things to go. One month out and my decision making skills are just about nonexistent Can you share your set-up? I just need some ideas.TIA!

If you look at my planning bio, under reception, you'll see our possible set up. I don't know how many people you are expecting, however we are expecting about 200. I know it looks like the round tables are far away from the long table in the middle of the room but they won't be. The long table in the middle is our head table. We wanted to sit with our wedding party and be in the middle with all our guest. Even if this doesnt help you at all, maybe you could ask your caterer and/or florist. Our florist came up with the head table idea and our caterer made the computer image with hesitation. Good luck! Your day is almost here!!! Remember to post some pictures here afterwards!

I just went to a wedding there recently where the set up was similar to Amanda's but all the tables were circular and the sweetheart table was sort of where the smores table was. I think they had about 50 less guests. HTH!

I am not sure about my set-up there either yet but my caterer had some good ideas.

oh yea - my caterer actually put the set up together for me....it made it VERY easy.
