FG/RB?

So I'm really wrestling w/ the idea of having FG/RBs in the wedding. None of our friends or siblings have kids yet, and all of our cousins are our age so there aren't a lot of kids we know. I know that "it's my wedding and I can do what I want blah blah" but will it look weird if we don't have them in the wedding? There will be little kids invited, but none that are really close enough with us to be in the wedding. Should I just pick already or should they be kids we are close with (as close as you can be with a 4 yr old that is) Opinions?

it will not look weird.  lots of people do not have them either because they don't want the hassle or because they don't have any close relatives of the right age.

I think its perfectly fine not to have them. Especially if you're wrestling with the idea.

The only reason I am having a FG is because of FI niece...and we are not having a RB because there are no boys that are old enough to do it...FI's sister is in charge of them..I don't trust best man!

We are not having either of them. Mainly because of how unreliable kids can be sometimes...I have been to more weddings where the darn FG REFUSES to walk down the aisle.....that and because we dont have friends with kids.... I dont think it will look weird if you dont have them!

Ditto Jaclyn and Ashley. You don't have to have an FG or an RB. We didn't, and no one thought anything of it.

We had a flower girl who was in 2nd grade (so she would be reliable) who I am very close to. We did not have a RB because there did not seem to be anyone who made sense for the job.
