ISO: phalaenopsis orchids

Hi Fellow Brides,

I have my heart set on phalaenopsis orchids for mt wedding...unfortunatly I have fallen in love with a flower that isn't in my budget!  Does anyone have any recommendations on where to buy bulk (real) phalaenopsis orchid stems?  I need approximatly 85 stems.

You may want to go to one of the farmers markets and chat with the flower vendors. They may be able to help you out.

Try a wholesale flower source. I think there's one called Stems in Orlando. Try googling it - GL

Our florist mentioned that you can get good prices at the Flower Mart.  Not sure of the details, but I will check with her and see what I can find out.

There's a place called Pennock (I haven't been but one of the other girls on here recommended it). Its like a flower warehouse. Its somewhere near OBT and Silver Star, I believe. Also, try online sites like www.fiftyflowers.com and www.bloomsbythebox.com. Fortunately, orchids last a long time, so that's something you have going for you.
