Sandals does a destination wedding package.   They are now associated with Martha Stewart, so they have several different "styles" of wedding to choose from that you can customize.  I don't know anyone who has done this, so I can't personally recommend it, but they do have it available.

I did a search for wedding locations in the carribbean, and honestly I think every single hotel I looked at had SOME kind of wedding package available that you could customize through their wedding coordinator.  You can ararnge for whatever you want.

So you might be able to just pick a location, then pick a hotel or resort at that location that you like.  Personally, I like Saint Lucia :-)

  • Ditto PP, all of the hotels we looked at for our HM had wedding packages, so I think you should just pick a place and go with it.  There's also a Destination Weddings board, where you might get more information.

  • Can only agree, we picked different hotels and esp. going South they all offer wedding packages. Alternatively you can check Horizons Unlimited Travel - they also do destination wedding packages.

  • Agree with PP's.  We are having a Sandals Destination Wedding in August.  We decided on it because we wanted to focus on the Honeymoon before we started planning our actual wedding.  You always hear about people have these big weddings but not being able to afford a Honeymoon, so we looked at it the other way around.  While looking through the brochures, we stumbled upon the Destination Weddings.  With the length of time we are staying and the room we chose, our wedding is actually free!  This includes a wedding planner, ceremony (w/ officiant), toast, cake, reception for bride, groom & two guests, boutonniere and bouquet.  It's only $250 additional  (reception cost) for every 10 guests (it has to go by 10).  We were pumped when we found all this out!  I would highly recommend looking into it or at least talking to a travel agent about it and getting some brochures. Good Luck!!!

  • I looked for a destination wedding board on here and couldnt find it. Where is it under?
  • Its under Wedding Theme Boards.  A drop down menu will appear and one f the choices is DW.
