Yard Games

Good morning!!! So my wedding is in september and will be at a friends house.  He has a HUGE! yard with a barn (where dinner will be).  I think I want to run with the barn theme and make it more laid back and picnic-y and having yard games.  Did anyone do this? What games did you have.  So far I have thought of magnetic lawn darts, washer toss, and ladder ball.  Tell me your ideas.  Thanks!

Re: Yard Games

  • Croquet would be awesome, and you could put out some soccer balls and jumpropes for the kids to use. GL!

Yay, we're having yard games too! I'm hoping we can find a badminton set, beanbag toss, and bocce ball.

For the beanbag toss and related games, are you just using baskets/containers or are you drawing on the lawn? Sorry if this is an ignorant question.

I am renting an inflatable castle from a local rental place.  I did this for my son and daughters combined bday party and the kids loved it.

They were practically in it all day long.

We are going to be having yard games too! Croquet, Ladderball, Cornhole, soccer balls, Bocce ball, those giant bubble wands (that are almost as big a round as a hula hoop), hula hoops, and jumpropes will all be there! I want EVERYONE to have fun!
