Outdoor Ceremony Decoration help

I am getting married in my parents back yard. Outdoor ceremony and reception. I am pretty much only decorating my tables for the reception and maybe a few streamers and balloons for the reception. I'm worried about the ceremony site. Other than possibly hanging streamers from a few of the trees where we are getting married at I have nothing. We are using chairs from our church and there are the typical gray metal chairs. Our budget is less than $1000 for the whole thing so there's not much left and I don't know how to dress up the ceremony area. I don't know what to decorate the aisle with other than rose petals. I don't know how to decorate the chairs or if I should even bother.

I know that no one there is really going to care except for me. I know that in 10 yrs I'm liable not to remember what my decorations were. All I know is I see these lovely ceremony site online and  I am worried that it's gonna look like we threw everything together.

Don't think that way! It's tough when you are planning your wedding on a budget-- but that doesn't mean that it has to look cheesy or cheap. Utilize the area that you have.. I am having my wedding at someone's house too! Weddings don't have to be super fancy and elaborate.. pick fresh flowers from your parent's house or a friends house..

Paper lanterns are pretty affordable, and they look really pretty. A cheaper route for that would to buy small white paper bags and put candles in them..(if its at night). 

Keep looking around online. Don't forget that your wedding will be awesome no matter what.. you're getting married! Who cares about all the rest of that stuff.. "You only need a bride, a groom, a officiant, a license, and a witness to get married. The rest if just fluff" -the knot magazine

You could always tie a small bouquet of flowers onto the chairs at the end of every other aisle...something like this:

Look at options with Mason Jars too. Walmart sells them. They're $15 for 12. I'm using a TON of them in my wedding. I'm starting to collect other glass jars too as we use them.

You can hang them from the trees and either put candles.. or a single flower floating in water in them. (I'm doing both!) I'm not sure where you live, but Magnolias are in bloom! You could just pull some off the trees and fill the jars with a little water. You can also use them as vases and tie a ribbon around them for centerpieces. They look best imo with mixed wildflowers!

I don't know if you'd have anywhere to hang something like this, but for my wedding the area has some really tall bushes surrounding where we'll be.  I'm going to get a thick posterboard or some type of cardboard and cut out a simple monogram (just letters) to hang.  I plan to dress up the monogram with paint or cover it in cloth or something, then hang it on the bushes with tulle in coordinating colors.  I'm going to use the left over tulle to dress up the chairs lining the aisle.
