Fire pit problem

Our reception will be outside of a beautiful cabin but in the middle of the reception area is a large built in stone fire pit. It is beautiful but I do not want to have a fire at my wedding and it is a large hole to fill!!! any suggestions on how to decorate?

    If you didn't want to make it a table, you could surround and/or fill it with palms, hostas, or some type of plants to match your reception colors!
