I am planning to do a rustic/vintage wedding, and I love the idea of mismatched china. I have a lot of china tea pots that I got from my grandmothers and great grandmothers that I would like to use for centerpieces. But with 160 or so guests, I am having a hard time finding that many plates that I like. And I also think it can be a bit overwhelming if each table setting has more than one type of plate. Do you think it would still have to same effect if I used plan white or ivory plates and mismatched tea cups instead? Did anyone ever do anything like that?
