Saw your post below. My venue did not allow us to use sparklers inside (I wanted people lined up along the stairs), but outside there weren't any problems. Let me know what they say and they're all yours.
8 in. sparklers last about a min. We had 6 lighters (4 corners and 2 for the middle) just make sure Letty tells people when to light.
