Welcome and thank you for the introduction.  I hope you don't hold it against the ladies (me included) who responded.  For instance, if that would have happened on a national board (like planning and etiquette), they would have torn that thread apart.You will find lots and lots of help with budgeting here.  My advice to you is to not be discouraged if some things don't fit into your budget that might be discussed around here, like chivari chairs or a designer dress. These things, as nice as they are, are not the things that make a great wedding or a happy marriage.

Honestly... what got me was the line Jaime wrote out : "read the stories and then decide" I felt (and this is my humble opion... also you may want to take this with a grain of salt b/c Ive had a very eventful two days) that you were saying. "just vote for me. i deserve it." Trust me, this is coming from someone who has been through a lotttt the last week and I still don't feel like i should get anything on a silver platter... i also dont have the kahunas to ask for votes before an intro. however, you have introduced yourself and all is well with the world. so, happy planning and enjoy the board... bc these girls r AMAZING. and i do apologize for coming off snarky.
