Idea for Encouraging Faster RSVPs...

We've gotten our 1st online rsvp (yay!) but I know I keep reading that a lot of people aren't very quick about it.

So here's my idea:
Send an email to our guests announcing that whether they are rsvp-ing yes or no, each rsvp received in the next X days will be entered for a gift card drawing (to such & such store for X amt) conducted by Fi & I.

Creative way to encourage rsvps... or tacky?

Hmmm... I think it's hysterical. However if this was the planning & etiquette board, they would say tacky. However, it's YOUR wedding, do what you want. I think it's creative.

UM, i wish i was invited!! Those incentives work really well for my organization when we want people to respond or do something, so if you feel your guests wouldn't think it's tacky...go for it!

I'm going to go against the grain and say it's weird. Not necessarily tacky, but weird. Do what you want though.

I agree with some of the girls... It's your wedding so you should do what you want, but I do find it a bit tacky.
