Getting Ready Pictures...

Does FI HAVE to have getting ready pictures? I would love him to but he says he'll feel awkward having the photog taking pics of him, his BM, mother and two sisters. What do you ladies think? Will our photo album look weird with no getting ready pics of him?

Ay, he's so difficult sometimes lol...I REALLY want for the photog to capture his expression when he opens up his present which is my B-pics.

Everything can be modified on what the both of you want. You can always make an album (using Shutterfly or something) with pictures they have taken themselves. If he feels uncomfortable, then don't force him.

We actually spoke about this with our photographer when we first interviewed her. At the time we wanted 2 photographers and she said we can have one with me and the other one with FI while we were getting ready. I was sold on the idea because he could get pictures with his GMs and with his parents during this time (will save us some time). I didn't respoind for him so I waited for his response and he told our photographer he liked the idea. I can't wait to see those pictures because FI and his GMs are goofballs when they are all together, lol.

Tell your FI the advantages of having a photographer being there with him while he is getting ready.

If he doesn't want it, I wouldn't push it

My husband didn't want it and what we did instead was have his GM go earlier to the church. We had two photographers which were with me while I got ready and then one met up with him and his GM outside the church and they took their group shots there and pretend photos of them helping eachother fix their collars before the ceremony started. It was a nice compromise and in our album, no one would ever notice that mine were in a room and his outside the church
