I need to find a location for this November.  That's right,  2 months from now!! We were planning om Summer '13 , but an unexpected BUMP has arrived so we are fast-forwarding this wedding thing.  If we aren't lucky enough to find a venue, a backyard wedding will have to do.  11/23/12 is now that date.  I have emailed a few places with no response.   We have a tiny guest list (25-35ppl) and want things to be as simple as possible.  No ballgowns and reception halls necessary.  Any ideas?? btw..i am planning from north florida so that's an extra challenge.

Okay, you have many options especially since you have a small guest list. I would think your best bet would be something all inclusive so you wouldn't have to deal with finding important vendors.

If you want any even smaller space to hold both your ceremony and reception then consider restuarants such as Red Fish Grill and The Chart House. Both are beach side and in short walking distance from the beach. The locations host many wedding receptions and you can keep it simple. Another good restuarant is Texas de Brazil.

Congrats on your BUMP!!!!  that's exciting!! I think an all inclusive is a great idea and will take away a lot of pressure since you do not have much time.  Any hotel in Miami is gorgeous and will have a great package.  Are you looking for a beach theme?  If not the Mayfair Hotel in Coconut Grove is gorgeous and the food is yummy!!
