I live like 45 minutes away and wanted to know if it was even worth driving all the way down there just to visit the store??? What do you think? Im looking for inexpensive favors and frames for table card # and names and Damask supplies? Anyone know if I can find these there at a reasonable price?! Has anyone ever been there?!?!! THANKS :)

    They have a lot of stuff there, but I always found them to be more expensive than going to a regular Michaels with a coupon.

    Plus, good luck getting any help finding anything there.  Their customer service kinda sucks.

    If you do go, it is fun to walk around the flower mart though, which is basically attached to Moskatel's :)

    You have alot of time until your wedding.  While I know the temptation early on is to go for what you feel in the mood towards going, sometimes later on you change your mind. Make sure you are dead set on damask if you decide to buy your favors and accessories early on.  I made a really stupid purchase before I booked my venue last May and while it was only $40 dollars I could have used that money on something else.

    This early before your wedding it is a good idea of exploring all your options.  So for research purposes only, if you have the time to spend, going to Muscatels and other craft stores is a good idea, just to get a feel for what is out there.

    Do you have relatives in the Midwest?  One reason I ask is that I ended up buying alot of my acessories at Hobby Lobby, when I went out to see my FI.

    Another really good place to look before you go retail is the weddingbee classifieds.  The link is www.weddingbee.com and look at the classifieds.  I was able to get several supplies at a significant discount there.  It really does pay.

    Do you have any ideas of what you like?  Post pictures, alot of us have done alot of research so once we get a clear idea of what you'd like we can point you in the right direction.
