Wayferers chapel ceremony, but where to do reception!??!

Hey ladies!
I am looking into doing my ceremony at the wayferers chapel. Its stunning but they dont allow receptions on site. They gave us a list of reception sites which consisted of places like bucca de beppo. Now, I do enjoy some silly italian food, but not for my wedding reception. Anyone know of any good places for a reception in Rancho Palos Verdes? Thanks everyone!!!

My friend got married there and had her reception at L'Opera in Long Beach which was great.  If you want to stay in PV you could do La Venta Inn.

I wanted to get married there soooo bad but that was the biggest problem for me... finding a location for the reception.  Some places I checked out were the Norris Pavilion, the Point Vicente Center, Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach, and the Redondo Beach Historical Museum.  Some of the places were nice but too pricey for us and the others were affordable for us but not really what we wanted.  There are also some hotel nearby that people often have their receptions at as well.

The wedding I went to was to L'Opera in Long Beach and it took about 30 minutes or so to drive over.  I am not sure how long the drive to La Venta would be.  There is also Trump Golf Course.

La Venta Inn and the chapel are about 15 minutes max i would guess. ands its a beautiful drive. my friend got married a couple years ago at la venta, and it was beautiful, but i think it ended at 10:00pm due to site restrictions.

This might be a little late, but depending on how many people you'll have and what kind of reception you're looking for, you could look at Point Vicente Interpretive Center.  It's SO beautiful there and you can bring in your own vendors.

    Hi,

I'm getting married at Wayfarers Chapel next year and I also struggled looking for a reception and was becoming antzy.  I looked at Long Beach & Redondo Beach but wasn't satisfied.  I had overlooked Palos Verdes thinking it was WAY too expensive but I went to Los Verdes Golf Course and am very happy, i will be doing my reception there and it's a 5-10min drive.  The closer to your wedding day the cheaper it is to book.

It's beautiful and they will allow me to bring outside catering as long as I also use their food.  So far it was the same price as other places I looked at Long Beach and Redondo Beach so im satisfied with this golf course :) !!!

Goodluck!!! btw when are u getting married?
