Best Jeweler for Wedding Bands?

We are on the hunt for our wedding bands this weekend (he purchased my engagement ring out of state), and we are trying to stay around the Sherman Oaks/Burbank/Pasadena Area. Any recommendations for great jewelers?

Robert Shaw reset my antique engagement ring and we both got our wedding bands from him as well. He is the best and is located in Encino.

We got our rings from Robbins Bros.  The quality is really good and their service is excellent.  There's one in Glendale (or maybe it's Pasadena) but we got ours form the one off Topanga Canyon across from the mall.

My husband wanted something more unique: a rose gold wedding band.  So I got his ring from applesofgold.com

He really liked it and their prices were pretty good.

I know downtown LA is a great place to go. very affordable, they barter with you  until you like the price. it is a great place as long as any stones are GIA certified. make sur eyou ask. they are open saturdays and m-f, (not sundays). there are a few hundred stores down there. if i were buying just a band i would go down there. huge selection. look on yelp for reviews.

but i picked out my engagement ring as a set with the wedding band from Alterman Jewelers, who orders off websites for a fraction of the cost. www.stuller.com is where he ordered mine from. again, alterman jewelers, off the 405 at valley view exit, is a smaller store with a small selection, so if you contact him first he will order styles you are interested in to try on. But he was wonderful. very honest and not a typical salesman.

i found robbins bros very pushy and not of good quality. they advertise a lot and their prices are marked up to pay for their advertising. stay away. check out yelp.com for reviews.

I got mine downtown at Icing on The Ring when they had their special price coupon.  There is a place in Studio City that has  BEAUTIFUL rings. Here's the info:

I think we're doing Tiffany's for his band, but as a tip, check out Arnold's in Pasadena.  They sized my ring and I've been eyeing the jewelry there ever since.  The customer service is top notch, and the quality is great.  I think they can also do custom designs.
