It's Official!!!! Christmas party proposal...:)

He proposed tonight! We went to my family's annual Christmas party, and my sister was acting really excited, so she told me to meet my then boyfriend in the office. He told me he needed to tie his shoe, and pulled out a ring! He proposed, I said yes, and then realized we were standing in the office at my grandmother's house - the same spot where, during Christmas 1981, my dad proposed to my mother. 30 years later, they're still together, and I'm an official bride!

Aww that's so sweet:-) I was also at a Chirstmas Party when he popped the question. But the plan was to have me walking out of the bathroom and see him standing with the ring and roses. He won me over:-) He also had my favorite song playing

Yeah he kind of rushed through it because I was super late to the party and his parents would be there any minute and he was scared they would blow the surprise. So I pretty much walked in the door and my sister handed me a glass of champagne and told me to go in the office. Honestly, it was all so fast I feel like I hardly remember it Couldn't be happier, though.

I thought it was a beautiful coincidence but then I mentioned it to him and he was like, "Yeah before you got here I asked your mom to show me where he asked." So I was like awwww because he's not a very big-over-the-top romantic gesture type of guy.
