newspaper engagement/wedding announcement

My Fiance and I are submitting an engagement announcement to our local paper. My Fiance adopted my daughter and we would like to include her name in the announcement (our parents are announcing the engagement) but I was looking for another way to include her in our announcement. Any Ideas?

How about something like (Parents) are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Samantha Smith to James Jones... the happy couple, together with their daughter Isabella, are excited to celebrate their new family together.

Not sure if you'd want to make it clear that the daughter was adopted by the husband, or ignore it in an effort to make them a clear united family.
