Hey everyone! I've been lurking around the past few months on here but as of yesterday I can officially be a real engaged knottie.
I won't go into long detail I promise!
My boyfriend's godson lives in Savannah so he told me we were going to visit him and since I've never been we would go the weekend of my birthday (yesterday). We have been together a little over 3 years. I thought he may propose until last week when he basically told me not to get my hopes up. His friend who we stayed with Friday night claimed he had bought us a horse and carriage ride to sightsee Saturday but in reality, my boyfriend had planned everything months ago. We were halfway through the ride when he got down on one knee (in the carriage) and proposed! His friend and his wife gave us a room at the Hyatt last night and took us out for drinks and dinner.
We are so happy and excited to start our lives together.
