Just engaged 4/21/12

My BF wait, my FI proposed last night while we were away at a conference for our profession. At the end of the conference, we went back up to the room and the proposed!!!! It was so surreal, it still is. Today when we got home, I was surpirised by both of our families being at my FI's house. I still can't believe it I am engaged!!!! Laughing

    Congrats!!!  That is so cool, we both have the same engagement date YAY!Laughing

    Are you finding it to be surreal like me. I'm being bogged down with phone calls and when people say FI I still can't believe it. I haven't had a full nights sleep or meal for that matter since Saturday. I am wy too excited, my face still hurts from all the smiling. I hope your feeling the same way I am, cause this is the best feeling in the world. I can't wait to marry my best friend!!

    My fiance took me to Disney on Saturday 4/21/12. We were celebrating our two year anniversary as boyfriend and girlfriend and he was very secretive all week long. What makes Disney special is that there was where we first met. We  were both performers at the Magic Kingdom.  We did the Legend of the Lion King show together and became close friends.

    Lion King is no longer there and it is now called Philharmagic ( a 3D movie attraction). He said he wanted to go inside. Well....needless to say I was starting to get a feeling he was up to something.....but I didn't want to get my hopes up.

    After the movie was finished people were leaving the theater.....but he just sat there. He was pretending his ankle was hurting him so it would give him an excuse to linger behind.

    When the theater was finally empty, he took me by the hands and we stood up. The theater was so quiet..... "I love you." Then he kissed me. I said I loved him too. He looked around and said, "this is where we first met......Will you marry me?"

    His voice was so soft and sweet. OF COURSE I SAID YES!!!!  We we're crying and holding each other.

    I hear the cast members cheering in the back of the theater. Both of us walk toward the exit, still crying and shaking. We were greeted with FREE Mickey ears (bride and groom) and pink buttons that said "JUST ENGAGED!!"  Oh!!! The ring is BEAUTIFUL!

    Oh my gosh! Congratulation to all of you who just got engaged! How exciting!

    That Disney proposal story was SO sweet too! Thats were my Husband (still getting used to calling him that!) and I went to on our honeymoon. I love it there.

    I just got married a month ago and this whole time in life is SO exciting! Hold on to that through your planning! I know that planning a wedding can get overwhelming but just remember what the wedding is all about. Getting to spend your life with that person! The knot is also a great place to be...I can't tell you how much I loved seeing the countdown to the wedding day during my planning process and how helpful their checklist is (you wont forget anything if you use it).

    I'm so happy for all of you! It's easy to catch the "egagement" excitement! :-P

    Best wishes to all of you and CONGRATULATIONS! :-D

It's just crazy cause I was telling everyone I was engaged and that was there first question, at thispoint I was only engaged for less than 24 hours. I want to enjoy myself for a little, before I really pick a date.</div>

    I got engaged on 4-21 as well and already am pulling my hair out with wedding planning for a wedding that will happen at the earliest Sept 2013.  It seems as soon as everyone heard I was engaged they had to put their 2 cents in on what they think is the best plan...   Its hard to really be in planning mode though when it is so far out
