I've always been a night owl. In high school, I frequently went to bed at 1am and got up at 6:30am for school. In University, I picked all my classes so I usually started at 11am or else took night sections. Before going back to college, I worked shifts, mostly overnights and late afternoons.
I am having such a hard time with going to bed early! I struggled a lot during the fast-track modules I did in May, and now I start class tomorrow, and my body won't get to sleep earlier than 2:30am despite my efforts to slowly train my body this week. I start class at 9am most days, have an hour commute, and on top of that, college support staff are on strike so I really need to get there by 8:45 now!
My sleeping pills don't fully cut it. Fellow students: how do YOU wind your body down and make it sleep? Tips, tricks, anything! (Although, a caveat: lactose intolerant so warm milk is a no-go)
