WR: gifts

Did you send a thank you card to someone that didn't bring a gift? Like, "thanks for coming" or did you just not send anything? We have a few gifts that are unaccounted for and it seems so rude to not say thank you and there are also a few people that didn't get gifts and I really don't want to try to figure it out because that's awkward. Did this happen to anyone else? Did you send thank you's to everyone?

We sent Thank You's for the gifts but we didnt have any unaccounted gifts. Thats a tough one. Did they not put their names on it or something?

I only sent TY cards to people that brought a gift.  There was 1 gift unaccounted for that I never knew who brought.

I didn't send you one?  Uh oh...I remember it too!  Wonder if anyone else went under the radar.  I know Andrew's bro never got one.  I told Andrew to write it and he never did!

The thank you cards that I'm ordering from shutterfly are almost $2/card with postage.. is it mean that I kind of don't want to spend the money to send people a thank you card just for coming? Like, thanks for eating our free food, drinking our free drinks and not even getting a card to say congratulations? When I type it, it sounds a lot b!tchier than in my head lol. I guess that the majority of that group is single guys, so it's expected? There were a few gifts that didn't have the cards attached by the time they made it to our house.. we literally had 6 cars/trucks full of supplies and gifts and it was a mess. so I figured out most of those and there are still like 2 or 3 gifts that I have no idea who are from. I don't want to ask because if it's someone that didn't get a gift, it makes it a bit awkward.

Were there 3 mystery cards that maybe feel off the packages? If you could at least know who the 3 belong to without even knowing which was from who  then that might help. BTW- I dont think its bitchy at all that you dont want to send a TY to everyone that came. I didnt ;)

Awww I wasnt trying to make you feel bad! I really am just super excited that we were FINALLY married and we were able to afford way more than we ever imagined :0) PLUS!!! I really did cut my guest list from 250 to 150 we only invited the people that meant alot to us :0) from out guest list there was less than 20 people that werent close to us example: my moms 2 girlfriends and his aunts best friend so that is why I dont care if we got gifts from all of our guests or not Im just glad they shared this day with us :0)! Now had we invited a bunch of people just cuz we felt obligated then heck yeah I'd care if they didnt bring a gift! :0)
