Publix as a florist?

When I went to Publix today to talk to them about a wedding cake, the event coordinator offered to price out flowers for me as well. I'm definitely willing to talk to them and see what they can offer, but I'm wondering if anyone else has used them or had any experience with them as florists. Thanks!!

I'm planning to buy flowers from Publix and make my own bouquets. If I'm not mistaken Angie74 did the same thing and it turned out great. There's a couple reviews for Publix under florists on this site http://sites.google.com/site/neflvendorreviews/Home.

We came really close to using them but decided to hire a florist closer to St. Aug instead.  I saw mixed reviews, but the majority of them were positive.  They're a great option if you're working with a tight budget and flowers aren't your number one priority.  I've read that it's hit or miss depending on the experience of the florists at each location so if you're a perfectionist, that might be a concern for you.
