White Room Weddings

Hi All,
I need some advice.  I am getting married in June at the White Room in St. Augustine and I dont know where to have my cocktail hour. The loft upstairs is booked at the same time as my reception so that is not an option.  Where have other White Room brides had their cocktail hour? AND if youve had it in the main room, how was it?

    Hmmm...I would definitely just have it in the main room. I really don't know where else you could do it. The White Room (while gorgeous on the inside) is very odd once you step out of it. I can't think of any surrounding area where you could do cocktails. It's such a pretty room. I say use it for cocktail hour so you can enjoy it even longer. I think it would be fine.

    I'm having my cocktail hour in the white room in May.   I was planning on the loft as well but it was just too expensive.  I agree the room is really pretty and will work out well.

    I agree with pps just do it in the same room.

    My wedding is at the Loft I'm having my ceremony on the rooftop and the the cocktail hour there as well. I want to enjoy the rooftop as long as possible :)
